If required, we are fully equipped to remove your amalgam (silver) fillings which contains mercury.
We recommend replacing your amalgam filling only if there are secondary caries (decay) or evidence of failure of the restorative material. In these instances, you should not delay in replacing your am algam filling.

Silver Diamine Fluoride
Silver diamine fluoride (SDF) is an antibacterial liquid used to treat tooth sensitivity and help stop tooth decay from forming, growing, or spreading to other teeth.
SDF contains silver that helps kill bacteria and fluoride which is used to remineralize your teeth (rebuild the materials they’re made of).
This is especially useful for children and the elderly due to its non-invasive nature. The solution is simply applied to the cavity or sensitivity.
